Challenge rules

Featured Pull Challenge

Simple rules for distance predictions and winner selection.

Back to the challenge

How to enter

Entry is free. For an individual-tractor challenge, predict its distance or choose Full Pull. For a class challenge, first choose the tractor you think will win, then predict its winning distance or choose Full Pull. Provide the requested contact details. Only one entry is allowed per person and device for each challenge.

When entries close

Entries close at the published time or when the organiser manually closes the round. Entries received after closure are not accepted. The time recorded by the event server is authoritative.

How a winner is selected

For a class challenge, entries must first have chosen the correct winning tractor. From those correct entries, the numerical prediction nearest to the official winning distance wins. For an official Full Pull result, only correct-tractor Full Pull predictions are eligible. Individual-tractor challenges are ranked by distance in the same way. If two or more eligible entries are equally accurate, the entry received first by the event server wins.

Other outcomes

A disqualification, mechanical failure, cancellation or no-result outcome does not produce a challenge winner unless the organiser clearly announces a replacement round. Pull-offs may be operated as a separate challenge.

Official result and corrections

The result supplied by the event organiser or officials is final for this challenge. If a result is corrected, rankings may be recalculated. The organiser may suspend, cancel or correct a challenge where necessary because of safety, technical faults, inaccurate data or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

Contacting a winner

The organiser may contact a potential winner using the submitted email address or mobile number. If a prize is offered, any stated prize conditions apply. If the potential winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, is ineligible or supplied inaccurate details, the organiser may approach the next eligible entry.

Selfies and publicity

A selfie is entirely optional and does not improve the chance of winning. It can only appear with the winner’s first name when separate display permission was given and an administrator approved the image. Contact secretary@nwtpc.co.uk to withdraw selfie permission.

Fair use

Automated, duplicate, abusive or fraudulent entries may be removed. The challenge is an informal free event activity and is not gambling; no stake or purchase is required.
